RMC Sport report that José Mourinho has informed the Tottenham board that he would like the club to explore the possibility of signing French international central defender Kurt Zouma from Chelsea this summer.
The 25-year-old has not yet seen Spurs formally make their interest known to Chelsea, but Mourinho is attached to the player that he brought in to the Blues in the first place.
From Chelsea’s side of things, they would not be entirely against a departure for the ex-St Étienne man.
However, we have yet to uncover what Frank Lampard’s outfit would want for Zouma. In any case, no meaningful talks are expected to occur until the Premier League season comes to a close.
In the meantime, other interested parties could manifest themselves.
