Turkish side Trabzonspor have spent the last few days negotiating with Ligue 1 club St Étienne over the possible loan with option to buy deal for 29-year-old Tunisian international attacking midfielder Wahbi Khazri, according to Manu Lonjon and Foot Mercato.
A deal is by no means certain, the Turks are cash poor and do not seem able to match Khazri’s current salary. A loan with option to buy deal would see the option worth less than the €6m to €8m discussed by other media.
Khazri is very unsure about a deal & is currently reflecting on it.
