Willy Caballero: “N’Golo Kanté had a bad moment during quarantine with virus symptoms.”

Speaking to TNT Sports, 38-year-old Argentinian goalkeeper Willy Caballero discussed team-mate N’Golo Kanté’s decision not to train with Chelsea at the moment owing to concerns over COVID-19.

“That he doesn’t return to football, that is very understandable. He tested negative for COVID-19, but he had a bad moment during quarantine with virus symptoms that frightened him. We respect him and we will wait for him until he feels comfortable because the truth is in order to do what we do, you have to feel good and confident. N’Golo is someone very humble and hardworking, who is always smiling and he must have reasons to do what he is doing.”
