Youth teams suspended & open training sessions cancelled in French football amid coronavirus chaos

Ligue 1 side St Étienne and French 2nd division leaders FC Lorient both announced today that they were cancelling this week’s opening training sessions, which fans would typically be allowed to attend, owing to growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Ligue 2 outfit Chambly have on their side suspended all training and matches of their youth teams until further notice, as the country seeks to get to grips with COVID-19.
