Amine Harit loan move to Marseille gets over the line

Mohamed Bouhafsi reports this afternoon that midfielder Amine Harit is set to complete his move to Marseille, joining on a loan deal with no permanent option.

The club have reached an agreement in principle with the DNCG, French football’s financial regulator, in order to complete the move – the club had been under financial restrictions this summer in terms of summer recruitments.

The 24-year-old returns to French football after a four-year spell in Germany with Schalke 04, having first made his name at Nantes. With the German club now relegated to the second tier, Harit makes a last-minute move to OM, which had initially looked to be blocked by the club’s financial commitments.
