Speaking in an interview with BeIN Sports, FIFA’s Head of Football Development and ex-Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger reacted to Mesut Özil’s departure to Fenerbahce.
“I am sure that he was very frustrated to not play anymore. His desire to play football must be enormous. Mesut is a guy who needs a warm environment and I believe he will find that in Turkey. If his physical condition is good, he will only need three or four matches to be at his best level.”
