Burnley and Hertha Berlin in talks for Lyon’s Maxwel Cornet

L’Équipe report tonight that discussions are currently ongoing over the potential sale of Lyon wide man Maxwel Cornet, with Burnley and Hertha Berlin interested.

The Lyon management are looking to sell the Ivorian for no less than €10m, with the 24-year-old having two years left on his current deal with Les Gones. Cornet has been with OL since signing from Metz in 2015, making nearly 250 appearances for the club playing in a range of different positions.

Lyon manager Peter Bosz has also requested that the club look into signing a starting new left-back, with around ten players reported to be on the management’s shortlist.
