As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Scottish side Celtic continue to demonstrate an interest in signing 19-year-old right-back Brandon Soppy from Ligue 1 side Rennes.
Under contract with SRFC until 2022, the Brittany side have opened the door to a departure, seeking a €5m sale.
Soppy played as 2nd fiddle to Hamari Traoré in the right-back position last season, making 12 appearances in all competition.
He has been offered an extension but found it unconvincing, according to L’Équipe. Furthermore, Bruno Genesio is already preparing Lorenz Assignon to become Traoré’s understudy for 2021/22.
Two Ligue 1 clubs and two English clubs have also shown an interest in Soppy.
