PSG not interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, regardless of Kylian Mbappé’s contract situation

With rumours swirling over the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi teaming up in Ligue 1, RMC and Fabrizio Romano report that PSG will not be signing Ronaldo this summer, regardless of how Kylian Mbappé’s contract situation transpires.

The Juventus board have always stated that Ronaldo will stay at the Italian the club this season and have not received any bids for the player, including from Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano. However, his contract is up at the end of the season and there are currently no talks to extend that deal.

Free transfers, following Juventus’ example of recent seasons, have become PSG’s favoured option this summer with the arrivals of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum all without a fee.
