Real Madrid ask PSG for permission to talk with Kylian Mbappé

Alongside their opening €160m bid to PSG for Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid have officially asked the club for permission to speak to the French international forward and discuss personal terms, according to RMC.

With less than a week to go in this transfer window, Real Madrid know that they must get their skates on. Even though they view their bid “like an act of friendship” to PSG, they know that they must hold all relevant negotiations simultaneously in order to get a complex deal over the line.

Mbappé has never hidden his love for Los Blancos and the Frenchman did reject PSG’s latest extension offer, which ran for 5 seasons and would have seen him remain the 3rd highest paid player at the club behind Neymar and Lionel Messi.
