René Girard to leave Paris FC, Thierry Laurey in talks to replace him

L’Équipe report that Ligue 2 side Paris FC are likely to part ways with manager René Girard, despite the French coach having taken the club to the playoffs this season.

Talks are already underway with recently departed Strasbourg boss Thierry Laurey to replace the ex-Montpellier man.

In the meantime, Paris FC continue to seek additional investment – after investors from Bahrain took a 20% minority share in the club last year. Paris FC owner Pierre Ferracci is seeking additional equity holders for an injection of cash, with more conversations ongoing with potentially Indian investors.
