Rennes confident they have beaten Ajax to Kamaldeen Sulemana

L’Équipe and RMC Sport report that Ligue 1 side Rennes have today pulled off a major coup in convincing 19-year-old winger Kamaldeen Sulemana to move from FC Nordsjælland, sneaking under Ajax’s noses at the last minute, with Dutch side having been convinced that they were going to land the player.

RMC believe that Sulemana will arrive in France tonight to undergo a medical with the Brittany side tomorrow – OGC Nice also attempted to sign the player but failed.

The Ghanaian international has been the subject of a €15m plus bonuses offer by both Rennes & Ajax to FC Nordsjælland, but the French side appear to have won out.

Sulemana will play on the opposite flank to Jeremy Doku for Bruno Genesio this season.
