Loïc Tanzi reports today that French defender Valentin Rosier is closing in on a return to Beşiktaş, having arrived in Istanbul yesterday evening to complete a loan move from Sporting CP.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with the Turkish side, having been with Sporting CP since 2019 after a permament move from Dijon. The former French youth international’s loan has now been renewed, with a permament clause that appears virtually obligatory.
The right-back made 37 appearances for Beşiktaş last season, winning both the league title and the Turkish cup.
