RMC Sport report that 20-year-old Argentinian attacking midfielder Thiago Almada has agreed in principle to join Marseille this summer, however the Ligue 1 club is going to have some major work to do when it comes to attempting to negotiate a fee with Velez Sarsfield.
The provisional agreement struck between Almada and Marseille centres around a 5-year contract. Fee negotiations have begun with his club Velez, but the Argentinian club are demanding €15m excluding bonuses for the Argentinian youth international.
OM also remain in talks with the entourage of Toulouse midfielder Amine Adli (20) – talks have been ongoing between the two parties for several months, but the player has not made up his mind as to his future destination.
Pablo Longoria is also looking at another two options for this position, but their identities have yet to filter through.
