Speaking to RMC Sport, RC Strasbourg manager Thierry Laurey appeared unfazed by his contract situation, with his current deal expiring in June.
“Last year, I extended in February. We decided to wait until the end of the transfer window to discuss it. I will analyse things calmly, with a clear head, as we did last year. We took the time with Marc (Keller, club president) to meet, to have full discussions, to ask all the questions, especially the good ones. It was important to do a good summary of the last four years that we have spent together.”
“We need to improve in the standings, there is a health and economic situation to manage, it is clear that the question around my future was going to be asked after all this. I am not worried about that, if we need to have discussions, we will have discussions. If things are going to stop here, they will stop here.”
