Troyes attempted to sign Feyenoord’s Franco Antonucci without success

During a busy deadline day for Troyes, alongside a pair of loanees from Manchester City, the Champagne club made an offer for Feyenoord’s attacking midfielder Franco Antonucci.

The 22-year-old former Monaco player and Belgian U21 international was subject to a €2.5m offer from the Ligue 1 side which was rejected last night by sporting director Frank Arnesen with the player under contract until 2024, report LÉquipe. Antonucci has played just once for the Dutch club having returned from loan at second tier Volendam last season.
