RMC Sport reported last night that Spanish side Villarreal were close to an agreement with Ligue 1 outfit Reims over the transfer of 24-year-old Senegalese forward Boulaye Dia.
SDR had been seeking around €15m in order to make the summer sale, with L’Équipe reporting on Saturday that an agreement has now been reached between the two clubs.
Dia scored 14 goals in 36 Ligue 1 matches in 2020/21.
