L’Équipe report that Premier League duo West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion have been in contact over the possibility of signing 22-year-old Nigerian striker Josh Maja from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.
Maja is under contract with Les Girondins until June 2023 but has struggled to gain a firm spot in the starting XI under Jean Louis Gasset, with Hwang Ui Jo now the undisputed starter in the sole centre-forward position in the club’s favoured 4-2-3-1 formation.
