RMC Sport report that Lille’s 18-year-old left-back Yassine Ben Hamed has decided to move to Belgian 1st division side Royal Antwerp.
Antwerp, who are in the qualification rounds for the Europa League, have convinced the LOSC youth product to make the move – his undergoing an initial portion of the medical tonight.
Should all go as planned, he will then join up with his new side’s 1st team in the Netherlands where they are currently enjoying pre-season.
The oldest club in Belgian history has become very ambitious since the arrival of wealthy owner Paul Gheysens and Deanish manager Brian Priske, who achieved a respectable Champions’ League campaign with Midtjylland.
Ben Hamed will sign a 4-year professional contract with Royal Antwerp.
