Foot Mercato report that Ligue 1 side St Étienne are struggling to complete a deal with Egyptian giants Zamalek for striker Mostafa Mohamed.
The latest offer from Les Verts is €3m, to be paid in a number of instalments, with a 10% sell-on percentage fee clause. A new offer is expected to be made by ASSE after the offer was turned down by Zamalek.
The 24-year-old still has 3.5 years remaining on his current contract with Zamalek, but has already agreed a 4.5 year provisional contract with Les Verts.
Galatasaray are also lurking and could make a concrete move, but Zamalek are sticking steadfast in their €5m valuation of the forward.
