Angers set to sign young Brighton striker Ulrick Eneme Ella (21) on 3 year deal

According to Mohamed Toubache Angers are set to sign young Gabon international Ulrick Eneme Ella, with the forward hoping to sign on permanent three year deal. Ella is set to arrive in Angers on Tuesday, and is hoping to ‘restart’ his career with the black and whites.

The centre forward has predominantly played in Brighton’s under-23 squad, but has struggled to adapt to life in England with only 18 appearances and two goals in the Premier League 2 since he joined the seagulls in September 2020. However, he is also an international for Gabon, making four appearances but having yet to score.

The former Auxerre and Amiens youth player is set to return to France, after an extended stay in England with Brighton, and Austria with FC Liefering and Salzburg.

The aim for Ella is to try and re-launch his professional career, he will be aiming to breakthrough into Anger’s first team next season – who have already agreed to sell Mohamed-Ali Cho (18) to Real Sociedad for between €12m and €15m.
