Nantes manager Antoine Kombouaré was seemingly frustrated with the lack of incomings at the club during a press conference with President Waldemar Kita on Wednesday.
The Coupe de France winning manager said, “There are 7 departures, but still no arrivals. I trust in the management to recruit. We will need 23 or 24 players in the group with the Europa League.”
General director Franck Kita added, “We’re working on it; players will arrive.” Thus far, however, Nantes have failed to add to the side that won the Coupe de France final back in May. As a result of that title, the side will also be competing in European competition next season, and will therefore face a heavier schedule.
As well as the 7 departures, Kita also announced that Ludovic Blas (24), Moses Simon (26) and Alban Lafont (23) could also leave this summer should “interesting offers” come in for the players.
