L’Équipe report that should Kingsley Coman leave the club, Bayern Munich have made compatriot Ousmane Dembélé their priority as the winger’s replacement.
The former PSG man sees his contract expire in 2023, and the Bavarians will look to avoid him leaving on a free at that point. Should he be sold, Dembélé would be their number one choice, having already been a target in 2016 before he joined Borussia Dortmund.
With the former Rennes man’s contract extension talks at Barcelona at a standstill, Bayern could sign him on a free at the end of the season, with the Bundesliga side looking above all to sign free agents who can commit to 3-4 year contracts.
The German side’s management are said to be convinced that they can help the Frenchman’s discipline issues with the support of the heavy French presence in the Bayern dressing room, as well as help him better manage his injury problems.
