Bordeaux have been offered Giannelli Imbula with Adana Demirspor also interested

As reported by Foot Mercato, Bordeaux are continuing their search for cut-price transfer options having exiled a group of first-team players earlier this month, including Laurent Koscielny, telling him his salary was too high.

As a result, Bordeaux have been offered former Marseille, Toulouse and Porto midfielder Giannelli Imbula, who is currently playing with Portimonense in Portugal’s top flight and matches the profile wanted by sporting director Admar Lopes.

However, Lopes has for now turned down that chance to sign the player whose contract expires in June. Turkish club Adana Demirspor are also interested in 29-year-old Imbula.
