Borussia Dortmund following Sofiane Diop and Amine Gouiri

L’Équipe report today that Monaco winger Sofiano Diop and Nice striker Amine Gouiri are being looked at by Borussia Dortmund.

The former has impressed this season, scoring six and assisting five times, but does not appear to be in the plans of new manager Philippe Clement. His contract expires in 2026, and Leicester are also monitoring his situation.

In the case of Gouiri, his contract ends in two years, and a disappointing second half to the season – 0 goals since January after scoring 10 in autumn – could affect his future. The forward himself has dismissed talk of a move away, but his transfer situation could yet develop over the summer.

Another French youth international, Khéphren Thuram, could also be on the move this summer. Gouiri’s club teammate is being followed by half a dozen Champions League clubs.
