Brest midfielder Paul Lasne eyes Italy move

As reported by Ouest France, Brest midfielder Paul Lasne is looking to leave France at the end of his current deal which expires this summer.

Having never played abroad, after spells with Bordeaux, Châteauroux, Ajaccio, Montpellier and Brest, the 33-year-old told the outlet he’s keen to experience playing in another league, mentioning Italy as his preferred destination:

“My desire is to discover foreign countries and put family life a little more in the centre. Despite my ambitions in football, it’s important to balance things. My family have made concessions for me. Experiencing another football culture, allowing my children to speak another language, I like that idea. I’ve never had the opportunity to play abroad in my career. I have a job that offers the possibility of discovering foreign countries, why deprive yourself of that?”
