Foot Mercato are reporting that Marseille forward Cédric Bakambu (31) is flying out to Greece this morning to seal his move to Olympiacos.
Bakambu only joined Marseille in the January transfer window. He arrived on a free transfer from Chinese side Beijing Guoan, where he had spent four seasons after having made the €40m move from Villareal.
During his time in Marseille, he has made 24 appearances, scoring 4 goals and registering two assists. However, this season, under new manager Igor Tudor, he has seen his game time limited and has only managed 54 minutes of Ligue 1 action. Bakambu has also been left out of the club’s squad for their Champions League campaign.
He is now set for a move to Greece, where the transfer window is yet to close. He is set to sign a three-year deal with Olympiacos and is set to fly out imminently to complete his medical and sign his contract.
