Christophe Galtier reacts to Julien Fournier’s comments: “I’m not surprised, knowing the person.”

In his press conference ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s match against his former club Nice on Saturday night, Christophe Galtier notably reacted to comments made by Les Aiglons’ former director of sport Julien Fournier on RMC last night.

Fournier left his position in July and is now at Parma, while Galtier was manager of Nice for one season. The former spoke yesterday about a “chaotic” time at the club for the former Lille and Saint-Étienne coach, as well as indicating that, “If I explain the reasons why Christophe and I argued, he woudn’t be able to enter any dressing room in France or in Europe.”

“I’m not surprised about the way in which he expressed himself. I don’t want to tire myself out by responding or debating everything he said, because the way it works means we create one debate after another. I’m not surprised about the style [he went about it], knowing the person.”
