Christopher Nkunku’s Chelsea move “well and truly completed”

Le10sport are reporting that Christopher Nkunku’s (25) move to Chelsea is completed, and the Frenchman will move to London in the summer of 2023.

According to Le10sport, Nkunku will feature in Chelsea colours next season after agreeing to agree the Premier League side. As reported in L’Équipe, the French forward has a €60m release clause inserted into his contract this summer. His agent, Pini Zahavi, has sorted out Nkunku’s transfer, coming to an agreement with Chelsea, and an agreement with all parties has since been reached.

Nkunku, who has eight caps for Les Bleus, has been ruled out of the World Cup in Qatar. The Red Bull Leipzig forward had been called up to Didier Deschamps’ side but was forced to withdraw from the tournament after he sustained an injury in training. It is thought that Nkunku could be absent for as long as ten weeks with a ruptured knee ligament.
