Didier Deschamps leaves France camp after father’s passing

L’Équipe report that Didier Deschamps left the France team set-up yesterday morning to be with his family, following the passing of his father Pierre.

FFF Noël Le Graët had announced the news to the press later in the day, offering Deschamps “all my friendship and my support in this challenging time”.

His assistant Guy Stéphan took charge of the training session, ahead of Les Bleus’ match against Denmark at the Stade de France on Friday, to kick off their Nations League campaign.
