Speaking to Téléfoot this morning, Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps praised centre-back William Saliba, who has been part of his France squad since March.
The defender had himself appeared on the show today to discuss his future, notably indicating that he would be returning for pre-season with Arsenal, amid speculation of a push to remain at Marseille after a successful season at the Vélodrome.
“He’s a true defender. He has this ability in duels, he’s quick and he’s a good header of the ball. He’s someone who’s calm, unfazed, and has a lot of maturity.”
