Eduardo Camavinga: “We were scared until the end”

In speaking after his Real Madrid side’s dramatic extra-time Champions League quarter-final win over Chelsea last night, French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga explained that Madrid’s second comeback in two rounds was far from a miracle:

“We were scared until the end, we conceded goals, but the most important is to have answered. We’re happy to have done so and to go to the semi-finals. It’s not a miracle because we did the same against Paris too, people thought we were out but we were able to recover. Tonight, the same thing happened, we conceded two goals, three goals but we were able to come back. ‘Until the end’ as we say here, we’re happy to have succeeded today.”
