FIFA World Cup News

The FIFA World Cup will start soon. The FIFA World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18. On the first day, there will be many interesting confrontations. The FIFA World Cup is a long-awaited event expected by players, fans and scouts of different teams. The latter from all over the world will monitor every perspective player at every tournament game.

And if you want to look for football scout jobs for an amateur or semi-professional team, you need to go to the job offering site. A scout is a representative of a football club that visits games to observe footballers or teams and collects the data to relay to the managers and coaches. The scout can keep an eye on possible new recruits and potential rivals. And, of course, no scout will miss the FIFA World Cup.

Those who are favoured

Brazil is considered by bookmakers as the main favorite to win the World Cup. The coefficient for winning the tournament is 6.50. Next come England, Argentina (8.50), Spain (10.00). France was last season’s winner; its ratio is 7.50. The chances of France winning the tournament are estimated in approximately the same way.

Brazil and France could be among the favourites to win the FIFA World Cup in 2022, but France has Kylian Mbappé on their roster. This is serious reinforcement. As for the Brazilian national team, they have an almost perfect squad, capable of winning on all fronts. Much will depend on the decisions of team coach Bakshi Tite.

What about others?

England is one of the “dark horses” of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They have outstanding players in their roster but are led by coach Gareth Southgate, who will receive £4m if England triumphs in Qatar in the World Cup. Argentina is another challenger, easily qualified for the 2022 World Cup. As part of the qualification in the South America zone, the Argentines surpassed all opponents by a wide margin – only the Brazilian team was beyond their strength. In the table, the wards of Lionel Scaloni became the second, gaining 39 points in 17 matches.

England still has great prospects in the World Cup, but people are still determining what to expect from this team. It is not enough to have stars in the detachment; you also need to properly dispose of them.

In Spain, the situation is similar. The Spaniards have signed 5 quality players. They appear extremely good in the national championship, but key matches for Luis Enrique’s wards are yet to come. Spain is in the same World Cup group as Germany and Costa Rica. The Spaniards will be one of the most interesting and unpredictable teams in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Championship preparation

The location of the 2022 FIFA World Cup was decided back in 2010. Then in Zurich, a vote was held between the countries that applied to acquire the right to host the Mundial on their territory.

Initially, four countries applied:

  • Australia;
  • Japan;
  • The Republic of Korea;
  • Qatar

The future country, the championship host, went through several stages. Australia first flew out of the number of contenders, then Japan and North Korea. In the final, Qatar faced an application from the United States of America, which they defeated by a significant margin.

Immediately after determining where the 2022 FIFA World Cup would be held, a Supreme Committee in charge of preparing the tournament began to operate in Qatar. These competitions promise to be the most expensive in the history of world football. The hosts announced that more than $200 billion would be spent on their preparation (for comparison, Russia invested “only” $11 billion in the 2018 championship).

Even though the host country is usually required to provide at least 12 stadiums, the Qatari authorities managed to convince the FIFA leadership that they can adequately host the championship on 8 fields.

This became possible due to the proximity of the stadiums – it will be possible to get to any of them in no more than an hour. A new metro is being built especially for the championship, and for visitors to matches, travel in it will be free.
