As reported by L’Équipe, it was announced that Les Bleus will wear the famous colours of bleu-blanc-rouge against Australia for their opening match at the Qatar 2022 World Cup next Tuesday. Raphaël Raymond, the chief press officer of the French national team, announced in Friday’s press conference that Didier Deschamps’ side will line up in their home kit for the first group game against the Socceroos.
It will of course feature the navy blue shirt, white shorts, and red socks. France released their World Cup kits in September, with the home strip retaining the classic navy blue that we all associate with Les Bleus, but features gold detailing around the two-starred crest and Nike logo – featuring a small French flag on the sleeve. The rest of the kit is made up of white shorts with gold detailing and the classic red socks.
France play Australia next Tuesday at 20:00, and then go on to play Denmark on Saturday 26th November, whilst playing their final home game against Tunisia on 30th November.
