As confirmed by the club, Dijon forward Frédéric Sammaritano will retire from football at the end of the season.
The now 36-year-old has been little used by the Ligue 2 side this season as they failed to challenge for promotion back to Ligue 1.
Sammaritano has made 412 career appearances in all competitions to date for Dijon, Ajaccio, Vannes and Auxerre over two spells, amassing 46 goals and 45 assists along the way.
