RMC are reporting that ” a total agreement” exists between Houssem Aouar (24) and Nottingham Forest, although the Premier League side are yet to reach an agreement with Lyon for the transfer.
Sources told Get French Football News earlier this week that there was already a “provisional agreement.” A full agreement between the club, the player, and his representatives has now been reached.
According to RMC, Aouar was “seduced” during talks with the club’s management. The prestige of the Premier League and the idea of playing high-quality matches almost every weekend, also motivated the player to come to an agreement.
However, for now, Nottingham Forest haven’t agreed a fee with Lyon. The Ligue 1 club have thus far rejected two offers. But given that Aouar has entered the final year of his contract, he is available for a reduced fee, and RMC report that the next offer, thought to be around €15m, could tempt Lyon to sell.
