Gianluca Di Marzio reports this afternoon that Kylian Mbappé has made his decision and will renew with Paris Saint-Germain, having turned down Real Madrid.
The announcement could even come today, as the 23-year-old prepares to face Metz tonight in the final game of PSG’s title-winning campaign.
Mbappé has turned down a move to the club he was pushing for last summer, having previously had a verbal agreement with the La Liga side but made a sensational U-turn.
Ligue 1’s player of the year had indicated last week that his choice was “almost” made and that it would be revealed before the international break.
After a long-running saga, the forward has decided to stay with his current club, with whom he has been for the last 5 years after joining from Monaco in 2017.
Foot Mercato had reported that the announcement on his decision – with agreements in principle in place with both PSG and Real Madrid – would come this weekend, either before or after tonight’s fixture.
