Lausanne Sport goalkeeper Mory Diaw close to joining Clermont

As reported by L’Équipe, after securing their Ligue 1 status for another season, Clermont are close to signing goalkeeper Mory Diaw from Swiss club Lausanne Sport ahead of the summer transfer window.

After Clermont’s first-choice at the start of the season, Arthur Desmas, was dropped for poor displays earlier this year and stand-in Ouparine Djoco failed overly impress as his replacement, signing a goalkeeper has been a priority for the club.

Having come through PSG’s academy, leaving in 2015, the 25-year-old Diaw is close to agreeing a deal with the Ligue 1 side following 70 outings for the Swiss outfit since joining in the 2019/20 season.
