As reported by L’Équipe, Lille’s Mozambique international left-back Reinildo Mandava could leave the Ligue 1 champions sooner than expected, before the end of this month, with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Earlier this month Napoli had approached the player over a move at the end of the campaign or possibly a loan deal until then, while the 28-year-old was also offered a pre-contract agreement by Atlético de Madrid.
The Spanish champions, however, have now returned with a permanent offer for Lille to allow the player to move this January. It remains to be seen how Lille will respond to this proposal. The player himself said after the win over Lorient in midweek that he was planning on ending the season with LOSC.
