Speaking to Voix du Nord ahead of a top of the table clash between Lens and Paris Saint-Germain, Sang & Or and Ghana midfielder Salis Abdul Samed warned about the threat that the Parisian side pose, but remained optimistic of his side’s chances of European football next season.
Samed first spoke about the prospect of reaching Europe next season, and that the players “have continued to work in the same way”, explaining that they are “all focused, we really want to play in Europe, which is our objective”. Yet, the midfielder quickly moved on to the match against PSG, saying “I know what Paris represents” but highlighting that “the numbers between the two teams aren’t far apart”. However, he also underlined that “PSG know it will be difficult against us, they will come all out” and that Lens need to respond in order to “all be at our level. it’s a big game.”
