Lorient interested in both Benoît Costil and Jean-Louis Leca

As reported by Le10Sport, Lorient are keen to sign Benoît Costil and Jean-Louis Leca in their search for a new goalkeeper.

Lorient’s first choice at the start of the season, Paul Nardi, was dropped after a series of poor displays over the winter and replaced by Matthieu Dreyer, a perennial stand-in goalkeeper in Ligue 1.

With Christophe Pélissier confirmed as coach for next season, after some uncertainty following Lorient’s Ligue 1 survival, the club have started to peruse key summer targets, including an experienced Ligue 1 keeper.

With his contract about to end at relegated Bordeaux, Benoît Costil (34) is in talks with FCL despite a rough season of his own as FCGB conceded 91 goals and finished bottom of Ligue 1.

Lens goalkeeper Leca (36) is about to be replaced by 24-year-old Wuilker Faríñez as first choice and could leave the club soon. He is also an option for Lorient, the club could even try to sign both players.
