Luis Campos’ arrival as PSG’s new director of sport pending several details

RMC Sport report this afternoon that Luis Campos’ arrival as the new director of sport of Paris Saint-Germain could be made official at the start of next week.

Nothing has been signed as of yet, but there is no doubt that the former Lille and Monaco man will be taking over Leonardo’s position moving forward.

Several points are yet to be ironed out in talks between the two parties, notably with regard to Campos’ exact role within the PSG upper management. The negotiations are nevertheless being seen as positive by the club.

Another factor at play is that club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has not been in France for the last few days, and Campos’ arrival will have to be completed according to the former’s busy schedule.

RMC add that former PSG director of sport Antero Henrique will not return to the club, despite his influence in Kylian Mbappé’s contract extension, although he will have an external role in helping to sell players this summer.
