Lyon continue to advance in pursuit of Alexandre Lacazette

RMC Sport report that Lyon are continuing to advance in their efforts to sign Alexandre Lacazette on a free transfer this summer, in what would represent a sensational return for the out-of-contract forward.

The outlet claims that Moussa Dembélé has been informed of the imminent arrival of a forward – this could change the ex-Celtic and Atletico Madrid forward’s plans, as he had initially intended to see out his contract with OL, which expires in June 2023.

Lacazette is listening to approaches from Spain and England, but is motivated by a move to Lyon despite the fact that they have failed to qualify for European football – he likes the idea of being the undisputed leader of the side who can help young players to mature and grow further, according to the outlet.

Inside the club, certain employees believe that an agreement in principle may already have been reached between Lacazette and Lyon.
