Dutch media VI, have confirmed Lyon’s interest in Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia (22). The Eredivisie side have already rejected two offers from the Lyon, although the club is prepared to facilitate a transfer.
According to VI, Feyenoord are “not unsympathetic” to a deal as they believe that Malacia is “ready for the next step,” whilst the club also believe that they can make good use of the transfer fee.
For now, however, they are holding out. The first bids have been rejected, whilst Malacia himself is waiting to finish international duty with the Netherlands before making a decision about his future.
Lyon, who view Malacia as a replacement for Emerson (27), aren’t alone in their interest in Malacia, and VI have reported that “other clubs” have also tabled offers for the player.
