L’Équipe report this evening that Manchester United have made initial contacts over a potential transfer for Leipzig and French international right-back Nordi Mukiele.
Ralf Rangnick, formerly of Leipzig and now at the Premier League side, is interested in the 24-year-old, who has played four seasons in the Bundesliga so far and is an impressive asset especially owing to his versatility in positions.
Leipzig are still hoping to renew his contract, which ends at the end of next season, but he nevertheless appears to be on his way out. Mukiele is valued between €10m and €15m.
He was the subject of interest from Atlético Madrid in January, but they were unable to convince the German side to agree to a sale. The La Liga side could now return this summer.
