Mauricio Pochettino goes back on comment about his and Kylian Mbappé’s future

Speaking to Amazon Prime in the build-up to his team’s match against Strasbourg last night, Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about a comment in his press conference in which he indicated that he and Kylian Mbappé would be “100%” at the club next season.

The Argentine insisted that he was not speaking about the chances of the two being at the club next season, but rather about how he feels about the situation right now.

“The problem is that you need to listen to the question and the answer, don’t try to get headlines or misunderstand my message.”

“[The question was] the percentage that you believe you’ll be staying, today, next season – I said today, it’s 100%. For Kylian and myself.”

“You need to take a few minutes to listen to the question and listen to the answer. It’s really important that you don’t miss things so that you don’t alter the message. Today, Kylian and myself are 100% committed to the club, and in the future we will see.”
