Mauricio Pochettino on Lionel Messi being booed: “I don’t understand it.”

Speaking to ESPN last night following PSG’s 1-1 draw with RC Lens at the Parc des Princes which enabled the club to claim their 10th Ligue 1 title, manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about the boos directed by the home fans at Lionel Messi.

“It is incredible. These are difficult things to accept. A situation that is difficult to imagine and for me is incomprehensible. Even more so with the grandeur of Messi, what he is giving and will continue to give to football.”
