His words transcribed in L’Équipe, the Argentine indicated that he was ambivalent about his absence from the nominees for Ligue 1 manager of the year.
The awards ceremony will take place on May 15, with Bruno Génésio (Rennes), Jorge Sampaoli (Marseille), Antoine Kombouaré (Nantes ), Julien Stéphan (Strasbourg), and Christophe Galtier (Nice) in the running.
“I have no opinion to give. I didn’t have one either when I was nominated in England alongside Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. That’s a fact, I don’t have much to say.”
