Metz boss Frédéric Antonetti open to continuing despite relegation to Ligue 2

A 5-0 final day loss to PSG resulted in Metz being relegated to Ligue 2 and finishing in 19th place.

Their manager, Frédéric Antonetti, is not however interested by the idea of stepping down from his current position:

“In the coming days, there will be discussions to have with everyone in the club, the board, the technical staff, medical staff and players, who all need to analyse the situation well. The president (Bernard Serin) will have decisions to take and I don’t know which changes he will want to make…”

Antonetti has a contract until June 2024 with Les Grenats.
