As reported by L’Équipe, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is expected to keep his job despite an expected overhaul of the Paris club’s hierarchy this summer.
Below Al-Khelaïfi, coach Mauricio Pochettino is expected to leave the club imminently while sporting director Leonardo is also under threat of removal. Meanwhile, the futures of much of the playing staff are also in flux.
Al-Khelaïfi’s closeness with the Emir of Qatar and his growing status within the European game as president of the European Clubs Association (ECA), a position he inherited after the Super League debacle last year, and his position as a member of the executive committee of UEFA should protect him any overhaul. Al-Khelaïfi is also expected to be immune from being usurped by those in Doha who have been eyeing his position.
